Decision

Let’s start off with the definition of a decision:

Wikipedia puts it this way:  A decision is the selection between possible actions, while a choice is the selection between two or more objects.

Decision making can be regarded as the mental (or cognitive) process resulting in the selection of a course of action among several alternative scenarios. Every decision-making process produces a final choice.  The output can be an action or an opinion of a choice.
